The Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and Office of the Chief Prosecutor (OCP) require litigation support to prosecution counsel in all aspects of pre-trial investigation and trial preparation for the Military Commissions convened under the Military Commissions Act of 2009 (including United States v. Al Nashiri, United States v. Khalid Shaikh Mohammad et al., and United States v. Abd al Hadi al-Iraqi).Responsibilities:The Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and Office of the Chief Prosecutor (OCP) require litigation support to prosecution counsel in all aspects of pre-trial and trial preparation for the Military Commissions convened under the Military Commissions Act of 2009. Analysts supporting OCP would be responsible for identifying, resourcing, and executing discovery-related missions as directed by the Chief Prosecutor, including, but not limited to: (a) conducting comprehensive searches for documents in response to specific defense discovery requests, applying applicable redactions, and crafting adequate substitutes; (b) retrieving and refining, as necessary, summaries and substitutions; (c) performing other discovery, pretrial preparation, and trial missions, including, but not limited to, research and analysis of existing intelligence, law enforcement, and legal products, as well as creation of new products; (d) managing the organization's task-oriented system and assisting in its daily support of all trial teams; and (e) executing occasional travel, both local and international. Travel Requirements: 0-25% international travel, or as determined by OCP.REQUIRED Qualifications:Active TS/SCI security clearanceBachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (eg, Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies) AND 2+ years of progressive relevant experience (or equivalent combination)2+ years experience in intelligence analysisAbility to manage multiple, simultaneous task requirements within a fast-paced environmentExceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups in a demanding environmentAbility to work independentlyDESIRED Qualifications:Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (eg, Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies) AND 0+ years of progressive experience in intelligence analysis and/or criminal litigation supportKnowledge of Military Commission processExperience providing support to criminal litigation We are GDIT.
