We are looking to immediately hire a Marketing Coordinator in our Alexandria, VA office, working directly with our CEO launching our newest franchise brands. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to implement our social media, PR and direct marketing strategies that will increase brand awareness of our organization and generate inbound traffic and sales leads for our portfolio of restaurant brands to industry media and broker channels.The ideal candidate for this position will identify, evaluate, select and monitor the most relevant marketing channels for our organization, including (but not limited to): Instagram, Instagram Story, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, public relations and industry outreach.You will create and maintain an up-to-date social media plan, and collect, analyze and report on the success of the social media tactics using a variety of digital analytics and media-tracking tools. In addition, you will research current and emerging social media trends to find new opportunities for business growth and regularly present new options that will drive greater audience engagement.Responsibilities* Manage copy/image/response postings for Fransmart marketing channels including (but not limited to): Facebook LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Vimeo, YouTube, PR, industry media, and database marketingCoordinates activities with internal marketing and public relations teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice, and cultivating an engaged social media communityManage news feed of all brand PR stories to brand landing page Blogs and Fransmart social media connectionsResearch, prospect, build, maintain an up-to-date Lead Referral Agent plan, collect, analyze and report on the success and activities of each agent, regularly present new options that will engage more qualified independent sales agents* Conduct social media metrics tracking, analytics, reports, plus research new social media/digital opportunities that will increase visitor engagementWatch/share every brand's 2nd-tier social media efforts, facilitate social media connections for Fransmart team to share, and develop executive level social media/LinkedIn content for CEO to post/shareCreate strategic content for multi-platform storytelling, present a point of view across social and digital channels to align with multi-marketing initiatives* Help write/coordinate communications materials including blogs, social media posts, and possibly video copy support* Lead/manage day-to-day social and digital deliverables for select partners/clients, including content creation, social initiatives, message creation, etc.EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION. At least 3-years experience with social media or PR at an agency and/or in-house corporate communications teamBachelors degree in Marketing, Social Media/Multi-Media, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field preferred, experience in restaurant marketing, franchises, and/or hospitality communications a PLUSExpert use of all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), and experience in social media content development, strategy/campaigns, community management, monitoring tools, etc.Proven ability to create engaging social media content, and passionate about storytelling and speaking on behalf of a brand; develop and curate a brand personalityClear understanding of the social media space and how to achieve and articulate success across all organic and paid platforms, and strong familiarity with digital and social media influencersProven track record of getting measurable results using social media/digital tactics, and ability to listen carefully to identify goals and then execute plans to meet those goalsExperience managing complex projects, creating and maintaining detailed schedules of pending events and project timelines for the company and multiple restaurant brands, ensure critical deadlines are metThe ideal candidate will be a voracious consumer of news, a counselor on what makes a good story to increase business, a curious researcher not afraid to dig for a good angle and a collaborative associate who can team up with colleagues to develop an integrated planShould be a motivated self-starter with a creative eye, attention to detail and entrepreneurial characterFlexibility and teamwork are essential to this position!APPLICANTS MORE THAN 30 MINUTES COMMUTE TO OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA NEED NOT APPLY.About Fransmart:As the leading franchise development firm in the country, Fransmart turns emerging restaurant concepts into successful national and global brands.
