RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Accountant in Hunt Valley, Maryland (MD). Key Tasks: Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results Analyze financial information and summarize financial status Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending Provide technical support and advice on Management accountant Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process REQUIREMENTS: Experience with GL functions as well as month/quarter/year end close processes Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures In depth understanding of GAAP Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines Highly detail-oriented and organized Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
