HVAC Test Technician needed in Westminster, MD at a well-known manufacturer. This position is MON-FRI 7am-3:30pm. $17-19/hr. JOB DUTIES: Perform a variety of general mechanical and/or electrical assembly operations on HVAC units for use in the rail car industry, while adhering to quality requirements and best practices as provided through drawings and manufacturing work instructions. Perform cost effective functional testing of HVAC components and systems, in a controlled lab environment with the ability to troubleshoot and identify failure modes. The troubleshooting includes mechanical, electrical and brazing repairs required in order to meet product specifications and acceptable test results. Adhere to quality requirements and notify supervisor of product deficiencies or design problems. Adhere to manufacturing approved processes and standards for all work performed. Participate in all required training courses and practice learned methods in everyday work.
