Come join us, and find out what the best work of your career could look like for you. We are adding an Estimating Coordinator to our Specialty Construction Division. The Estimating Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Estimating Department from "Invitation to Bid" (ITB) to "Request for Proposal" (RFP) to the submission of final bid and technical proposal. Log and assign bid number and set up bid file for all RFPs Manage, maintain, and upload RFP to iSqFt Assist with subcontractor bid solicitation and coverage Maintain bid roster Administer Donohoe Construction Company's bid logs and bid log website Manage subcontractor pre-qualification process with key elements of term insurance prequalification standards Ensure the management of all required RFP packages on bid day Administer list of contract documents for completeness from ITB to bid day Assemble bid-turnover packages Continually identify opportunities for department improvement in addition to individual professional development Additional responsibilities Ensure that subcontractor vendor lists are up to date and accurate during each bid solicitation life cycle Verify that drawing set and documents received are complete (concurrent with forward to estimator & prior to sending out for printing) Contact architects and owners to rectify any discrepancies in provided documents Order drawings as requested by estimators Update and revise estimate bid packages as changes arise Assist in preparing written proposals and scopes of work Provide primary support for creating, maintaining, and updating spreadsheets and other computer applications to support the estimating department Generate, manage edits, and transmit AIA Contract Documents including current "Work in Progress" Participate and record minutes from weekly estimating department meeting Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree (construction-related field, preferred) At least 1 year of experience in Estimating or related position Experience working in a fast-paced office environment with a dynamic work schedule Skills High customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work Exceptional written business communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Possess operating knowledge or the ability to learn database programs (ie Sales Acheiver), iSqFt, AIA document production/management system, ProLog, Textura, JD Edwards, BlueBeam with CAD programming, a plus Ability to work periodic overtime as necessary to meet project deadlines EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
