K2P seeks a passionate Lead Product Designer. This person will play a central role in our product development team helping turn our mission from a vision into reality. At K2P we are passionate about getting knowledge into the hands of medical professionals to create better patient outcomes and our product experience is key to engaging and creating experiences medical professionals love and can fit into their busy lives. A successful candidate will be data and insights driven, using qualitative and quantitative data to guide innovative experiences that will align to the desired outcomes of medical professionals and hospital leaders. They will be able to easily collaborate with stakeholders, product, engineering, customer success, and marketing to ensure solutions also align with the needs of the business. They will know how to balance quality and speed in order to build new experiences and continue to enhance our already successful products. Responsibilities Own design problems and process end to end, from initial ideas and sketches, through concepts, prototypes, designs, shipping and beyond. Be an advocate of our users, discover insights through user research, validate your designs with users, and share the findings to help shape the product Work with cross-functional teams, collaborate and push the boundaries of design with product managers, content, and developers to define and achieve a holistic product vision for the needs of our customers. Constantly look to hone your design instinct through user feedback and data. Whether through user research, user testing, surveys, or by designing options for A/B tests. Identify future opportunities, brainstorming and working as a thought partner with cross-functional teams Work with product and help facilitate workshops (design sprints, customer journey maps, etc) to identify problems and iterate towards a solution Sketch, wireframe or rapidly prototype ideas to quickly assess viability, and design fine-grained details of interactions and experiences Continue to expand our design system through collaboration with the team in order to maintain a consistent design experience Skills & Experience 6+ years professional experience in end-to-end UX/product design. Heavy UX experience, with visual design experience. Lo-fi & hi-fi prototyping skills (with high skill levels in using prototyping tools like Invision, Figma or other) Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product / UX design (with proficient skill levels in standard design tools like Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision Studio) A portfolio of work demonstrating your experience in creating user-centered design solutions (flows, prototypes, wireframes), beautiful visual designs (mockups and style guides) across desktop and mobile devices (including mobile apps). Excellent communication skills, high energy, and an optimistic attitude to inspire others. Experience in building, establishing and evolving a design system. Working experience with end-to-end UI/UX design processes from research to writing user story and design requirements Experience in conducting user research and other data-inform decision to design Experience coding in HTML/CSS/Javascript a plus
