Position Summary: We are currently searching for an HVAC Service Salesperson responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new commercial/industrial HVAC Maintenance Contracts for our Virginia and Northern New Jersey locations. This individual will be responsible to prospect, cold call, set new appointments and close contracts to acquire new customers. Position Responsibilities: Prospecting for potential clients and building a continuing list of prospects to call on Appointment setting through cold calling, networking, referrals, etc. Develop and maintain sales contacts and sales activity in company s CRM Identify, qualify, and follow up on business opportunities in the assigned coverage area Follow up on sales leads from within our other companies Telephone cold calling daily to gain new appointments Schedule new presentations with key decision makers on a weekly basis Perform site specific survey of existing mechanical systems and put together equipment lists Take the lead in presentations for potential new clients showcasing all of our services Prepare, present and close maintenance contracts Establish long-term mutually beneficial business relationships Communication with Sales Manager regarding schedule, sales activity, estimates and proposals Provide weekly activity reports to sales manager Provide existing clients with revised agreements as required or renew existing agreements Meeting established sales goals as defined in our sales representative plan Representative will perform above responsibilities exhibiting a professional friendly demeanor Representative will work together as part of our team so that issues can be avoided and/or quickly resolved in a professional manner, both inside and outside of our organization Required Skills and Experience: Valid driver s license HS Diploma with a minimum of 3+ outside service sales experience (preferably HVAC service industry) Self-motivated to achieve annual sales quota and company objectives Strong prospecting, networking, cold calling and appointment setting skills a must Demonstrated track record of success in outside sales Ability to travel within the assigned sales territory as needed Positive energy and enthusiasm to drive sales and company growth Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in conjunction with other team members Strong communication, organization and time management skills Must be self-motivated, confident and independent Ability to do presentations in front of owners and decision makers Computer skills using programs such as outlook, word, excel and CRM program Must be able to efficiently multi-task and problem solve Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Creative use of skills and resources to generate customer leads and appointments Compensation Package: Competitive base salary Uncapped quarterly commissions Comprehensive Health Benefits package Company matched 401(K) Company Vehicle Allowance Company provided cell phone and laptop
