Project Coordinator/Analyst University Life invites applications for the position of Project Coordinator/Analyst which will work as part of the University Life Divisional Operations and Planning team supporting project and events management at George Mason University. Work includes monitoring the progress and deliverables in assigned project areas, assisting University Life and related functional offices with project lifecycle management and documentation, developing project templates and deliverables, preparing communications, and leading specific projects/events when requested.

What knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) should a new employee bring to this position? * Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with Project Management * Demonstrate the ability to manage and work on multiple projects/tasks while meeting tight deadlines * Demonstrate the ability to analyze business processes * Possess strong written and verbal communications skills - the ability to craft and deliver a message to audiences ranging from staff to executive level management * Excellent attention to detail and superb organization skills * Ability to work as part of a team with moderate supervision

Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Demonstrated working experience in a project-based environment

Preferred Qualifications: * Master's Degree * 2 years of experience with project management and business process analysis * CAPM certification * Experience in a higher education setting * Experience with events management * Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft * Project, or other project-management related software
