Career Description This position will accelerate the growth of the firm by strategically sourcing candidates for the Financial Advisor role. The primary responsibilities are to drive qualified talent to the firm through networking and social media and to build and leverage high level referral sources both internally and in the community. Creativity, exceptional communication skills and drive are critical prerequisites for this career opportunity. Recruiting/Sourcing Assist with the development and execution of the firm s candidate sourcing plan to reach activity and productivity goals. Develop and coordinate strategic recruiting initiatives to generate interest in careers at First Financial Group and drive introductions. Develop referral source networks through: Warm referrals from Financial Advisors, staff and leadership Develop community centers of influence (COI) and strategic community connections for networking opportunities Social media and internet sourcing Colleges (career center, career fairs, campus organizations, athletic programs faculty, alumni) Selection Candidate will be required to learn/understand all aspects of the selection process as well as have/learn mastery of basic financial planning terminology in order to: Review resumes and schedule initial interviews Conduct pre-screen and initial interviews of all candidates entering the process Administer selection profiles Direct all candidates through the selection process and series of interviews with management Maintain integrity of the selection process to ensure proper candidates are selected Effectively communicate with candidates Accountability and Activity Tracking Report weekly activity to the leadership team Coordinate regular meetings with the leadership team Coordinate monthly meetings with FR s to discuss potential referral opportunities Develop proficiency and use of recruiting software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process Qualification Criteria Bachelor s degree required Three years progressively responsible work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting or financial services industry Strong work ethic, integrity, effective communication skills required with the ability to build rapport and influence others Expert in Social media and internet sourcing (preferred)
