The qualified candidate must have experience in electrical/mechanical design engineering, including wire harness/cable design and electronic equipment interfacing. Assist with defining and capturing electrical connectivity, cable routing and wire harness specifications across spacecraft. Generate wiring schematics, wire lists, installation drawings, and parts lists along with their team Perform trade studies in regards to electrical impedance, EMI, and mass characteristics in order to optimize spacecraft harness design. Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering required as well as at least 7 yrs of experience.Creo Schematic experience is desired for this role but not required.Must have experience acting as a lead in some capacity and leadership capabilities for a technical, engineering team.Must have experience and knowledge of wire harness design and creation of wire harness specifications for spacecraft/ satellite applications.Familiar with design of electrical interconnects for high reliability spaceflight equipment.Experience with working with equipment performance specs, wire drawing lists (WCL's), schematics, and related cabling and harnessing documentation.Strong understanding of spacecraft or reentry vehicle design and integration is desired.Experience with flight specification including cable and harness design, COTS electronic equipment, electrical/mechanical design is desired.
