We are looking for a strong candidate with knowledge of commonly-used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures. This position will report directly to the Controller of the organization. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail oriented and adaptable to change. The following are the primary job responsibilities of this position: Pull data from pharmacy and medical equipment sales software for analysis and calculations Prepare journal entries and record transactions into accounting software Assist with preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports Reconcile general ledger accounts Calculate commissions and work with payroll data Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts Participate in semi-annual physical inventory count Work with accounts payable, payroll and accounts receivable records Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Some experience in the accounting field or in a related area Proficient in Excel
