All in all, we operate over 300 locations and have 21,000 employees. Responsibilities: The DMIT will complete an initial 15 week outlined training curriculum. After completion of the initial training, DMIT will be immediately placed into a Store Manager role, to continue training and developing mastery of the business, in a single unit capacity (measured over time, through sustained results with cause and effect rationale). DMIT's demonstrated capability in the SM role, along with DM position availability will each be factors for determining placement in a multi-unit DM role. The DM will generate profitable sales of multiple stores within an assigned geography. Oversee the operational practices & adherence to policies in all stores making sure each runs smoothly and meets performance expectations. Create Store Operating Plans (SOP) to drive towards budget and to optimize results. Coordinates with and reports to the Regional Director. As a skilled leader, the DM works through the Store Manager to focus the store management team on the right priorities, trouble shoot challenges and help remove obstacles in order to meet or exceed all performance expectations for the district. The District Manager interviews, hires, trains, develops and counsels Store Managers. Forecast management needs throughout the district, or within the region or country, and ensures talent needs are met. He or She is the primary translator of company vision, mission, and business objectives. Motivate respect throughout the district for the customer, the donor and the store team. The DM is a role model for all team members, especially the Store Manager, demonstrating actions consistent with the Savers Core Values and which enrich the Savers culture.
