BCT Architects is Baltimore-based, international architecture and design practice is in search of an experienced, creative marketing and communications professional with special attention to branding. This is a great opportunity for an energetic leader to launch an updated brand following a company merger, and to set new standards for website and social media. A sophisticated design approach to brand management is desired.A' With limited support from our in-house graphics studio, you will bear primary responsibility for the company"s brand and market awareness, managing our public relations, social media, corporate events, website design and content, and corporate collateral. You should have experience in all of these areas, plus deep expertise in public relations and in driving business opportunities to advance market awareness objectives.A' Our firm offers graphic design and interior design services in addition to architecture and planning. Placemaking and community activation are at the heart of our mission. This is a perfect role for a hands-on leader who is both a skilled manager and a seasoned communicator and strategist.A' Responsibilities include:A cents € cents Planning, developing and implementing all external and internal company marketing strategies and marketing communications, working closely with the Principals, Studio Directors, Business Development Directors, and Graphics Studio.A cents € cents Oversee development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing and communications. Maintain up-to-date support materials and initiate new ones for all projects.A cents € cents In conjunction with Senior Principals, Direct the development and execution of global marketing communications initiatives, including tradeshows, email campaigns, social media presence, company website, public relations, internal communication, and corporate events.A cents € cents Establish, own and drive a strategic internal and external communications strategy that positively affects employees" and clients" understanding, engagement and commitment, resulting in strong connections to the company and a return on investment.A cents € cents Build and manage the corporate Marketing & Communications budget.A cents € cents Actively lead, build and manage the Corporate Communications team (in-house and out-of-house) including graphic designers, corporate communications specialists, photographers, media specialists and copy writers to produce high quality publications and materials on time and within budget.A cents € cents Determine projects which should be completed internally and externally. Manage relationships with outside vendors as necessary.A cents € cents Continually Install process improvements and implement best practices to manage projects efficiently.A cents € cents Keeps abreast of industry trends.A cents € cents Maintain the corporate database of contacts, and implement a system of notational updates for contacts that are targeted by other internal groups.RequirementsA cents € cents 8+ years of successful and progressive work experience in marketing communications within the design field, advertising, social media, creative writing and / or related fields.A cents € cents Experience working inside a public relations firm a plusA cents € cents Bachelor"s degree in marketing or relevant humanities field; graduate degree such as MBA a plusA cents € cents Excellent communications skills, both written and oralA cents € cents Willingness to travel nationally/internationally periodically for immersion and getting up to speed with our style of architectural design, real estate industry trends, and corporate culture.A cents € cents Mandarin, French, German, Arabic and/or other foreign language skills are a plus.Please email with a resume and a minimum of four examples of creative content work samples.A' We are an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to the goal of building a culturally diverse environment, and strongly encourage applications from minorities and women.
