We are seeking a consultative sales professional to lead new customer acquisition efforts for our event hosting services and multimedia production studios. This is an individual contributor role focused on NEW customer acquisition (not account management). Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for: Identifying, pursuing and securing quality new customers for our event hosting services and multimedia production studios through professional sales outreach (phone calls, email campaigns, in-person meetings & presentations, networking events other appropriate methods) to qualified prospects in the DC, MD & VA region and worldwide. Researching the market and competition to identify ideal customers to target for introducing our business solutions. Scheduling and conducting consultative sales meetings/discussions with prospects to uncover potential business opportunities where our solutions can address their pain points and help them achieve their business goals. Structuring, negotiating and securing business agreements that provide win-win solutions for our clients and our business. Achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly and activity targets and KPI s necessary to build a successful opportunity/revenue pipeline. Achieving and exceeding established monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets for new customer revenue. Logging and managing your daily sales outreach, meeting schedule, business opportunities and pipeline using Salesforce.com. Working collaboratively with internal teams and departments to transition/onboard new clients. Representing the company at industry events to generate new business leads. Minimum Candidate Requirements: Bachelor s Degree a minimum of 3 years successful experience in an outside new business sales role Proven track record of effective prospecting, cold-calling and managing an active meeting schedule Documented success in winning new business in a competitive business climate Experience working in a goal-oriented environment with revenue targets & incentives Individual must be organized, self-motivated, energetic and entrepreneurial Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external contacts Proven ability to manage time effectively and work to set targets and deadlines You will be rewarded with a competitive base salary + commission structure.
