The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial functions of the Sorority. The Director will partner with Executive Board Members, the National President & CEO and the Executive Director in developing and implementing the organization's financial strategic and operational goals. They will oversee the fiduciary responsibilities of the organization and provide scheduled and detailed financial reports. They will also assure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance. Responsibilities. Maintain accurate financial statements and reports. Oversee short and long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the strategic plan. Manage relationships with investment firms handling the organization's assets. Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies. Oversee all payroll functions, accounts payable/receivable, credit and petty cash records. Effectively maintain all financial records. Qualifications. Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Accounting or related field. 8+ years' of experience in finance and accounting with a proven track record of fiscal management, budgeting, financial reporting and analyses, investment and cash management. Possess one or more of the following credentials: CPA, CIA, CMA, CFP. Experience in a non-profit organization or as a Board Member of a non-profit. Strong communication and analytical skills. Must be able to travel as necessary.
