VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Position Title: DIRECTOR OF operations Position Summary: The Director of Operations reports directly to senior management and is responsible for the organizations security operations management, including development, implementation, and oversight of appropriate policies and procedures. The Director of Operations plays a key role in developing the organization's strategic goals and annual plans, serves on the management team, and plays an integral role in planning and supporting the organization's future growth initiatives. Job Description The Director of Operations will perform functions including, but not limited to the following: Provide management interface, direction, guidance, support and supervision to all Site and Field Level Supervisors tasked with oversight of our various security programs Maintain proficiency on all contractual responsibilities including staffing requirements, key client personnel, training/credential requirements, uniforms and appearance, etc. Ensure full staffing on all project worksites including, but not limited to staffing of reserve officers for short-term projects, back up officers and short-notice project start-up Coordinates security coverage for temporary, short-term and ad-hoc security coverage requirements Perform final review of corporatewide payroll to ensure accuracy of hourly wages, along with hours of security coverage Conduct periodic reviews of operational procedures (Post Orders), suggesting improvements, and initiating implementation as requested by client and/or security officials in position of responsible charge Provides operational briefing and worksite-related matters to Chairman/CEO during weekly meetings. Note: Urgent matters and emergencies are to be reported in real time. Performs in-person site visits to project worksites; develops, manages, improves and reports on Quality Assurance / Quality Control inspection programs. Investigation of workplace accidents and/or serious incidents for recommendation of corrective measures for prevention of future recurrence as deemed feasible Management of disciplinary actions and follow-up remedial procedures for employee-related violations Review of weekly Master Schedule / Operating Schedule to prevent and/or minimize scheduled overtime and coordinate replacements for open schedules Enforcing and maintaining training requirements to comply with specific requirements for respective client sites (ie scheduling of training classes, facilitation of outside training requirements, coordination of in-house training requirements) Serves as corporate liaison between security field operations and corporate mission support departments including HR, Finance, Operations Support, Training, Special Projects, etc. All other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Chairman / CEO of Securemedy, Incorporated. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Security Management, Homeland Security or related field preferred Possesses at least five years of solid middle management experience, preferably in the security industry.
