JustinBradley's client, a groundbreaking non-profit that supports more than 30 million people in over 25 nations, is looking to add a Payroll Manager to their Washington, DC metro area headquarters. Some of the programs led by this not-for-profit are aimed at both small businesses and multi-national companies like Google and has helped hundreds of thousands of individuals. This is an advance level Payroll position that performs the full range of payroll work, including supervising, coordinating, implementing, and overseeing the processing of payroll. A' Highlighted Responsibilities: Overall, day-to-day management of Payroll. Processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis for the organization, with the ability to problem solve, perform calculations, provide direction, training and support to payroll, and other essential personnel. Makes decisions as needed to have payroll processed in a timely manner. Assists in maintenance of the Dayforce HCM system. Oversees the manual entering of timesheets with budget allocations for staff on as needed basis. Review work charts, wage computation, and other information in order to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies and report such trends to Senior Director of Finance and Compliance or other designee. Processes payroll journal entries, payroll adjustments and payroll checks. Analyze and interprets payroll reports in order to respond to employee's payroll problems and discrepancies; generates, reviews and maintains a variety of automated reports such as promotions, wage attachments, and other related reports on a routine basis. Supervises additional payroll staff or temporary clerks by training, evaluating, providing daily direction and verifying accuracy of work. A' A well-qualified candidate will possess the following: Bachelor's Degree in related field Minimum five years payroll or related experience with acquired payroll laws and tax knowledge.
