Software Engineer | Go | React We're seeking talented, hands-on engineers to modernize one of the most critical systems in Capital One's US Card Business. We are using a host of technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Java, and AWS to build microservices and serverless services. We practice Agile methodologies. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment are part of our daily lives. What you'll do: Influence the technical direction of the project. Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios. Continuously improve software engineering practices, craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions. Work within and across agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience At least 2 years of software development experience At least 1years of experience working with REST services At least 1 years of experience in React, Golang, or Angular At least 1 years of delivering software in an Agile environment Preferred Qualifications: Willingness to learn new technologies 2 + years of Experience with React.js, Angular (2+), or Golang Production knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB. Practical knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Functional programming knowledge is a bonus.
