Responsibilities

As a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST (MISSIONS PROGRAMS) at the GS-0343-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
  • Responsible for overseeing all customer engagement and relationship management throughout the entire service lifecycle and overseeing strategic investment management activities.
  • Works as DMDC Senior customer liaison in support of the DMDC Director and Deputy Director. Maintains relationships with OSD principal staff elements, the uniformed services, and other key Federal Agency partners, to include the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Assures synchronization of overall development, modernizing acquisition programs, operation and priorities established during program operational reviews and subsequently executes programming and budget decisions made during the PPBE cycle for the procurement of agile software development.
  • Monitoring the detailed plans and subordinate's work assignments, determines work schedules, and reconciles conflicts and priorities.
  • Reviews work of subordinates for adequacy and compliance with instructions or policy. Advises subordinates on administrative matters and determines training needs.
  • Uses identity management technologies and implementation of HSPD-12 to focus on developing and improving information technology business processes at all times; leading the development of compliance, as well as on-going analysis and assessment of what is going on within the process.
  • Develops process to screen requirements against strategic plans to determine prioritization based on cost effectiveness of requested support, and to ensure that the creation of duplicate or stovepipe requirements are avoided.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:
  • Expert knowledge in modernizing acquisition processes for the procurement of agile software development.
  • Expert knowledge in overseeing the resourcing and strategic planning of large-scale acquisition programs.
  • Expert knowledge in Project Management principles and applying those principles toward the implementation of identity management technologies.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
