Summary:A' The Sr. Financial Analyst, Business Analytics is responsible for providing action-oriented analytics to drive business results focusing on sales, costs, and labor.A' This position will afford you the opportunity to great internal exposure by partnering with key business leaders to drive cross -functional business decision -making analytics the influences company -wide direction. You will have the opportunity to expand verbal and written communication skills by providing union negotiators with easy to share cost explanations that enables HMSHost to negotiate effectively and sharing analysis with upper management. Essential Functions:A cents € cents Simplifies complex data, applies business unit profitability metrics, and develops exception reports to detect issues and enhance performanceA' A cents € cents Performs detailed analysis and presents key findings to key internal and external stakeholders soliciting feedback, gaining consensus on next steps, and motivating implementationA cents € cents Leads process improvement efforts partnering with internal sources: operations, department leads, and external partners for implementationA cents € cents Identifies, recommends, and implements solutions to improve accounting processesA cents € cents Communicates with a wide range of internal and external customers (other departments, field locations, management, auditors, systems personnel, etc.)A cents € cents Provides business process improvement support as necessaryA cents € cents Supports peers and management as well as provides functional expertise on non-routine projects and analysisMinimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:A cents € cents Requires Bachelor's degree in finance or other related fieldA' A cents € cents MBA in Finance or Masters in related field preferredA' A cents € cents Minimum of 3 years of experience in business/financial analytics preferredA cents € cents Requires the ability to translate complex data into easily understood business practicesA cents € cents Requires advanced knowledge in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access or other database programs with the ability to translate data into required actions and easy to use tools for end-usersA' A cents € cents Requires strong analytical and problem solving skillsA cents € cents Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and handle multiple, concurrent projects/processes within specific time guidelines with a sense of urgencyA cents € cents Strong communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal)A cents € cents Requires ability to travel 15-25% of the timeA'
