The Sales Operations Manager will support functions essential to the productivity of the sales team to drive performance and increase efficiencies, including planning, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, territory analysis, and reporting. A great opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders to improve their business processes and to ideate, troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, and engage appropriate technical resources. What you'll be doing Assist sales leadership in developing sales plans and making data-backed business decisions. Project manage the annual sales team planning process; conduct data analysis and reporting to support business decisions related to the sales structure, territory design, quotas and compensation. Analyze performance metrics and data and provide reporting and analysis of key activity, conversions, and outcome metrics to drive sales process improvements and execution. Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement and automation. Work closely with sales leaders to evaluate sales process quality and prioritize areas for improvement. Serve as the overall business leader for CRM utilization, configuration, data reporting, and hygiene. Act as the primary point of contact representing the sales team with other groups. Work collaboratively with internal support teams (Marketing, Product and Workshop Operations) to develop and implement effective sales strategies that promote sales to new and existing customers. Track and report on performance metrics, including effectiveness of collateral, communications and other sales tools to identify opportunities for sales team process improvements. Provide real-time sales reporting including orders, activity, conversion, etc. Manage the sales databases to ensure documents and sales enablement pieces are current. Provide analysis to drive segmentation and target sales activity. What you'll bring to the job BA or BS or equivalent work experience. 6 years' experience managing sales automation and processes. Experience in a subscription or SaaS sales environment preferred. Strong ability to influence at all levels within the organization. Ability to work independently and with a team. Strong decision making and analytical skills. Strong service orientation. Proficient with CRM tools (Sugar CRM, Salesforce.com, etc.), web-based presentation tools (GoToMeeting, WebEx, etc.) and Microsoft Office applications. Strong technology (specifically software) aptitude and understanding. Ability to travel approximately 3-5 trips per year.
