AV/VTC Technician Location:Fort McNair, Washington, DC, The National Defense University JobID:100 Posted:10/18/2019 As an AV/ VTC Technician, the individual will be responsible for providing technical direction and engineering knowledge for all communications activities. In this role, the Technician will plan, design, develop, test, install and maintains a large communications networks. OSC Edge does not support Work Visas for this position. Telecommuting is not available. Responsibilities: *Plans, designs, develops, tests, installs and maintains a large communications networks *Ensures adequate and appropriate planning is provided to direct building architects and planners in building communications spaces and media pathways to meet industry standards *Develops, operates, and maintains voice, wireless, video, and data communications systems *Provides complex engineering, analytical tasks and activities associated with one or more technical areas within the communications function *All other duties assigned by OSC and governing contract office Required Qualifications/Education and Experience *Must be able to receive or maintain a Personnel Security Clearance or NACI Background Check *Minimum 3 years of AV systems experience *Security Certification required Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience *Crestron training and/certifications preferred Full Benefits and PTO, 401K are available.
