Position Description: ArdentMC is seeking a SharePoint Application Developer to work on a client facing project. The candidate will serve as a SharePoint developer, web developer, and SharePoint strategist; and maintain responsibility for supporting the needs of various organizations groups and offices by driving enduring results back to clients. Duties & Responsibilities: Work closely with clients, IT managers and team members to analyze application development requirements, plan, design, develop, implement, and support quality SharePoint solutions. All solutions developed must align with client strategies and comply with architectural standards. The SharePoint Developer may also be assigned other deliverables, tasks, and/or projects as required by the client. Works in collaboration with other team members to develop and modify SharePoint sites. Captures requirements, develops site content framework and SharePoint web parts. Works independently to identify and execute maintenance and upgrade activities for assigned SharePoint sites. Works on creating new interface for and support current Interface for SharePoint sites that provides information from various applications, (create or leverage APIs) wherever possible. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on SharePoint software application issues Required Qualifications: Experienced in designing, documenting and implementing custom applications. 5+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer both out-of-the-box and custom application. Provide front-end solutions in HTML and CSS3. Experience withSharePoint Object Model, SQL Queries, Visual Studio, Visual Web parts, user controls, features, solution packages and deployment, custom timer jobs, Search, workflows, InfoPath forms, Application pages, content types. Experience with creating or customizing SharePoint site collections, sites, lists or libraries, workflows, and metadata.Experience with gathering functional requirements, troubleshooting and working with the functional and technical users. Knowledge of business workflow design, InfoPath forms, and SharePoint Designer 2013 and/or 2016 Able to create documentation, and assists in the planning aspects of future enhancements Understanding of source code control principles Knowledge and experience of Telerik controls for SharePoint custom development is a plus. Attention to detail and an ability to learn and build reliable, scalable, and flexible software Key Skills SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath Forms, .NET Framework, Visual Studio, software development, SharePoint Object Model, CSOM, JSOM, Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL Queries, Visual Studio, Visual Web parts, user controls, features, solution packages and deployment, custom timer jobs, Search, workflows, Application pages and content types. Experience SharePoint: 5 to 8 years (Required) US Citizenship required in order to comply with law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.
