Yorktel is currently seeking a Web Developer II who will assist the client by working with client webmasters in the development and maintenance of client websites and in maintaining the content, linkages, and the use of proper syntax of the Internet pages owned by the client. Required Experience: The Web Developer II shall be/have: Proficient in coding with HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS); Familiar with industry web standards; Excellent communication, teamwork, and organization skills; A keen attention to detail; Strong in troubleshooting and analytical abilities; Working knowledge of website management and creation tools (ie Visual Studio, Adobe Photoshop, WinSCP, etc.) Keep abreast of emerging web technologies and inform the client of recommendations for their use on the client website; Proficient in the use of software applications including in the most current version of Microsoft Office Suite. Duties and Responsibilities: Will learn and adhere to client Internet and Intranet standards, policies, procedures, and governances in regard to web development; Build and assist in the development of client websites; Manage and perform continual maintenance of client websites; this includes the upkeep of links, text edits, and other functions; Testing of websites on various platforms, including other sites and search engines, to determine their effective functionality, responsiveness, accessibility, and usability; Work collaboratively to generate creative ideas for use on the internet/intranet; Assist with the organization of web files and maintain an organized workspace Additional Skills and Requirements: The Web Deveoper II shall meet one of the following minimum requirements: Have 10 years' experience in web design and development Have a Bachelor's degree in a multi-media web design or IT related field plus 5 years' experience in web development.
