( SP ) is seeking to add a well-qualified Help Desk Administrator with a background in providing help desk support to our team as we expand our small, dynamic, group of biometrics help desk administrators supporting the Near Real-time Identity Operations (NRTIO) collection systems. This is an opportunity to support the Army's authority for biometrics, Project Management Office DoD Biometrics, with the day-to-day support of tactical biometrics collection devices and peripherals. This includes answering phones, logging tickets, following up on requests for assistance and elevating tickets to a higher priority level if required to resolve the issue. These important biometric systems within the Customer's biometric portfolio give soldiers the decisive edge on the battlefield. You will work in a small team at a Contractor site in Manassas, VA. Each day you and your fellow team members will work with the Prime contractor, customer, and field representatives to: Provide Tier 1-3 support to the NRTIO systems and, ultimately, to PM DoD Biometrics Customer in support of on-going military collection operations. Tier 1 - response provided within 12 hours Tier 2 - response provided within 24 hours of receipt from Tier 1 Tier 3 - response to field within 24 hours of receipt from Tier 2 Answer phones, emails, webpage and SMS messages in support of providing system support Document requests for assistance and review help desk ticket requests Elevate tickets to higher tiers as appropriate Sanitize biometric collection equipment prior to offsite maintenance Coordinate with vendors for support above Tier 3 Required Qualifications : 2 years of experience providing help desk support is required Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university Desired Qualifications : E xperience with providing help desk support to biometric collection systems across a wide spectrum to include but not limited to: Crossmatch Secure Electronic Enrollment Kit (SEEK(R) II) Crossmatch Guardian(R) Jump Kit Other tactical collection and matching equipment (eg, Biometric Automated Toolset-Army (BAT-A), NG BioSled, SEEK Avenger, etc.) Understanding and background performing repairs to deployed biometric equipment Knowledge on the use of portable iris scanners, digital cameras, fingerprint scanners, and fingerprint hard- card scanners Experience with Very Small Aperture Terminals (V-SATs) Physical Job Requirements Work on-site (no telework) up to 5 days per week, 8 hours a day, at a DoD Contractor Facility Clearance: Current US Secret Clearance Location: Manassas, VA Apply: human.resourcessecureplanet.com Secure Planet, LLC, is an Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
