Job Overview: Advantage Engineers is seeking a Professional Electrical Engineer to work in our expanding Telecommunications Division. The successful candidate will have an electrical engineering degree and have commercial and residential power distribution, back up generators and grounding design experience. Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for all aspects of the electrical design process including field investigations. Communicate project requirements and project progress to the Engineering Manager. Prepare detailed electrical power designs including one line and three line diagrams. Prepare interconnection designs based on the utility provider requirements. Attend site visits and perform electrical investigations of existing switchgear. Qualifications: Professional Engineers licensure preferred Experience in low, medium and high voltage distribution, EV Charging stations and solar system design. Knowledge of national and local building codes. Prior experience on multi-site projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Education/Experience: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology and at least 4 years of practical, electrical design experience.
