Hilton is building a best-in-class data & analytics department that will lead a connected ecosystem of data, technology, tools, techniques, people and processes. This innovative data & analytics function will drive advanced analytics and actionable insights to help drive Hilton's performance. What will I be doing? The Analytics team serves as internal consultants to key functions across the business, including Hilton's Customer, Marketing, Digital, and Revenue and Sales organizations, with specialized support for the executive leadership team. The team consists of both embedded subject matter authorities (like this role), who serve as strategic advisors to key partners and technical guides, who are proficient in Tableau, R, SAS and MicroStrategy. The team is fully integrated within the business functions in order to ensure close partnerships and to effectively measure and drive company performance. As a Manager of Enterprise Analytics, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Analytics and serve as a resource for executive analysis as well as supporting the development of cross functional analytical capabilities More specifically, you will: Partner with other Analytics teams to understand, communicate, and implement meaningful metrics, analytics, and processes across the Center of Excellence (CoE). Serve as subject matter expert on industry and competitive analysis, supporting executives and leaders across the company with insights. Collaborate with teammates on economic analyses, also supporting executive stakeholders. Engage audiences with effective storytelling. Support the quarterly business review and associated earnings prep analysis and processes. Collaborate with the Manager of Enterprise Analytics, other managers of the DNA Analytics Tower, and across other Hilton teams to gather business requirements, for ad-hoc analysis and reports/self-service dashboards. Streamline business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the department. Mentor junior teammates, potentially including interns and rotational analysts. What are we looking for? We believe success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: Financial or performance analysis in the Hospitality Industry Outstanding analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills Strong value realization skills, including understanding of the financial implications of initiating or foregoing a project Accountable individuals, who take ownership of projects, effectively communicate results and recommend improvements Supportive teammates, who possess a good work ethic and high degree of integrity and diplomacy To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: Three (3) years of professional experience Three (3) years of experience analyzing data One (1) year of experience conducting economic, industry, or competitive research and analysis It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree Five (5) years of professional experience Functional experience in hospitality industry and/or finance Experience with BI tools (including Tableau, MicroStrategy, SQL, Hyperion) Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency with presenting data and its implications in a clear and concise manner What will it be like to work for Hilton?
