The Associate Vice President of Business Intelligence and Data Science for the Children's National Hospital Foundation will direct the information and data integrity of the Foundation Enterprise; will lead the strategy of information technology development and operations to ensure alignment with organizational vision, mission and strategy; act as a people leader, from building a collaborative team that possesses balanced capabilities to holding the team members accountable individually and as a group for results, as well as to create a motivating team environment. The position will report to the President of the Children's National Hospital Foundation, with a direct line to the hospital's Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required. Master's in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration (Required) Hospital Administration, Public Administration or other related field (Strongly Preferred) Minimum Experience At least 10 years of progressive related experience in all phases of computer operations. (Required) Minimum of 10 years supervisory/management experience in related job function. Experience in fundraising informatics. (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge 1. A strong leader with a mature sense of priorities and solid experience who can design and implement systems within the framework of technical boundaries including experience with Raiser s Edge NXT, Target Analytics, Modea, Donor Digital, Luminate, Tableau, DOMO, ZenDesk and SharePoint. 2. A systems thinker, detail orientated with strong organizational skills who identify opportunities for integration in support of delivering fundraising results. 3. Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Demonstrated experience in managing technical vendors and identifying efficiencies and cost-savings. 4. Strong interpersonal skills as exhibited by the ability to influence others and build collaborative relationships both within the Foundation and with Hospital IT and across the organization with diverse groups of individuals at all levels.
