Live Green Landscape Associates, an award-winning landscape firm, is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to plan and carry out the process of a landscaping project, by scheduling and directing the necessary employees and equipment to properly complete a task. Some of the key responsibilities and accountabilities include: . Overseeing the projects which are currently ongoing. This involves supervising on-site to ensure that a project is set-up correctly, as well as returning to the site upon completion to inspect the quality and craftsmanship of the crew. . Ensuring that all of his/her employees arrive to work on time, are properly prepared for the day, and that the crews are on schedule to begin each and every working day. . Remaining in contact with all foremen and field managers, so that all crews are properly completing their tasks as well and remaining on schedule. . Assisting in all phases of planning of future projects including estimating, scheduling, procurement of materials, etc. . Managing and holding field managers accountable for evening load out for the following day, ensuring that all equipment and material is properly loaded for transportation and that the facility is secured for the night. . Communicating with the contractor as well as the commercial project manager and estimator, to ensure that everyone who needs to be informed, is informed. . Managing the amount of materials and hours which are allotted to each and every job. . Continually remaining in contact with the contractors and project managers of current projects, as well as all future projects. . Surveying each and every project prior to ordering any materials or scheduling a start date.
