CANDIDATES WITHOUT THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.* Systems Administrator The Contractor shall provide state-of-the-art system administration solutions and support for hardware and software platforms to include Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) and COTS applications that reside on them. The GOTS/COTS hardware/software supported include: application servers, web servers, print servers, virtual file servers, reporting tools, etc., and all tasks associated with their backup/recovery, performance, and operations. The Contractor shall install, maintain, configure and optimize PC and Network Operating Systems, to include Microsoft, Linux and VMware server operating systems. The Contractor shall provide technical support, analysis, data management, and server management to sustain the operational computing environment. The Contractor shall design, implement, and maintain policies and procedures in support of, but not limited to, data storage/back-up/recovery, server software and firmware upgrades, and standard server maintenance. Support shall include the design, implementation, and/or on-going sustainment of Microsoft Active Directory to include forest creation, establishment or trust relationship, and account creation and maintenance. (CDRL A023 - System Administration SOP) The Contractor shall maintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant, state-ofthe-art hardware, software, solution sets, etc., in order to provide innovative solutions and recommendations. The Contractor shall provide all areas of Data-Center Program Technical Support to include site assessments, preventive maintenance, and emergency and corrective services. Data-Center Administration shall include datacenter planning and design, power and cooling analysis, feasibility studies, risk assessments, site surveys, energy usage assessments, optimization evaluations, and relocation and consolidation services. (CDRL A024 - Technical Report) The Contractor shall develop a comprehensive life-cycle management plan to include a technology implementation roadmap. Data-Center surveys shall include providing the equipment reconfiguration requirements, developing floor plan layouts, estimating billsof-material, identifying data communication requirements and shortfalls, verifying power distribution and environmental in order to meet mission critical requirements. (CDRL A025 - Life-Cycle Management Plan) The Contractor shall be responsible for the management of Uniplexed Information and Computing System (UNIX), Linux, Solaris, Macintosh, Windows, VMware and other operating systems within FBCH. The Contractor shall support and maintain the operating systems, patches, upgrades, and apply Information Assurance (IA) requirements for all systems within FBCH. The Contractor shall ensure that these systems are online and available to FBCH customers and ensure backups and contingency issues are addressed in the event of failures. The Contractor shall remediate all security vulnerabilities on all servers, desktops and infrastructure devices to meet security and operational requirements. The Contractor shall provide support services for this task at all of the FBCH sites.
