A' LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY - Baltimore, Howard County Maryland and surrounding area Tier II Field Engineer for Managed Services Howard Tech Advisors is growing and is currently seeking a Tier II Field Engineer to join our awesome Managed Services team! Job Description This is not an entry level position.A' A' The Tier II Field Engineer will provide both remote and onsite IT support for our Managed Services clients. This includes resolving issues for all technologies, including; workstations, servers, printers, networks, security, vendor specific hardware and software. Common support services include: A cents € cents Desktop/Server OS Printers, Email, Remote Desktop, etc.A' A cents € cents Can support Microsoft Office, virus/malware mitigation/removal, exchange email, password changes, etc.A' A cents € cents Cloud and local backup recovery solutions.A' A cents € cents Basic network support for firewall, routing, switching and remote access (SSL VPN)A' A cents € cents System documentation to include system reviews, recommendations, knowledgebase articles and standard operating procedures.A' A cents € cents Adds, moves and changes for VoIP and digital phone systemsA' A cents € cents Provide on-site proactive visitsA' A cents € cents Foster excellent relationships with clients Knowledge, Skill and/or Abilities Required: A cents € cents Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), active listening, and critical thinking skills.
