We are committed to a safe and sustainable work environment.Position Responsibilities:Manage reporting process to ensure timely delivery of reports to clients. Work with Asset Managers and Accounting to draft, submit for review, and finalize internal and external quarterly portfolio summary reports within reporting timetablesResponsible for analyses and coordinating the production of all drafts of property and portfolio-level business plans within reporting timelinesResponsible for maintaining portfolio-level models that track actual and forecast financial events, project most likely performance scenarios and calculate anticipated internal rates of return, cash returns, distributions and promotes, etc. Improve models as necessary.Assist the Investments team in the acquisition and disposition process for transactions involving the separate account clients. This will include financial analysis, market research, etc.Conduct portfolio impact analysis for potential new acquisitions (concentration A cents € " tenant and market, impact on returns, leverage, etc.)Work with the Accounting team to submit capital call requests; forecast portfolio cash flow and determine quarterly distributions. Improve and systematize the cash management processBecome familiar with portfolio documents/operating agreements and requirements to ensure compliance with contractual client obligationsCoordinate portfolio and property debt strategies with Portfolio ManagerCoordinate periodic asset valuations and hold/sell analysis in conjunction with Asset Management team, outside appraisers and client appraisal teamsRespond to regular and ad hoc client and consultant requestsPrepare annual portfolio review reports for Senior ManagementWork collaboratively with Asset Managers to identify under-performing assets and recommend remedial measures, including disposition, to maintain overall investment returnsWork closely with Portfolio Manager to create and investigate new investment strategiesAttend weekly BentallGreenOak Pipeline meetings and prepare weekly pipeline reports for clients (and participate in bi-weekly client calls)Other duties as assignedEducation and Experience: BachelorA$ cents A' €A' (TM) s Degree and related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceThree to five years of relevant work experienceEssential Qualifications:Strong quantitative skills and understanding of financial modeling and valuationAbility to effectively present information to senior management and clientsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsExpert with Excel and Powerpoint and the ability to create presentations and complex modelsFamiliarity with property valuation software (Argus) is a plusStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenExcellent knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial analysisAbility to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documentsMeticulous attention to detail and accuracyCustomer service mind-set and a team player mentalityWillingness to occasionally work irregular or long hoursSome travel may be requiredThis position requires someone with a dedication to the job who is eager to learn new approaches and is willing to openly listen and respond to feedback.
