Marketing Manager Position Summary This position is responsible for writing, editing, designing & executing marketing communications that strengthen the National Club Association's brand message and awareness. This position works closely with the Communications, Membership and Meetings Departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Design and publish NCA Products and Marketing Materials. Design print and electronic materials including but not limited to electronic newsletters, brochures, program books, direct mail pieces, social media profile design and graphics, reports, publications, PowerPoint and Word templates, flyers, email and event signage. Assist with proofreading and distribution of NCA communications. Provide input and expertise for website design elements, SEO best practices and video along with the Communications Team. Create and design advertising art and Media Kit. Solicit bids and recommend graphic and printing purchases. Manage the production process with vendors including on-demand publishing account. 2. Identify and Implement Marketing Strategies. Develop and implement marketing campaigns, strategies and tactics to increase perceived value, awareness and understanding of NCA's role in the private club industry, as well as its initiatives and successes. Work collaboratively with internal teams, Association committees and task forces, and external vendors to create promotional copy, integrate marketing brand messaging, and design original branded collateral and messaging as needed. Maintain visual identity standards for NCA communications, including sub-brands. Support development and implementation of public relations strategy and original content. Develop, oversee and review metrics for tracking success of marketing, including designing and distributing electronic surveys, reporting findings and creating corresponding charts and graphs. Provide graphic and editorial input for NCA publications, periodicals, and presentations. 3. Direct Non-dues Revenue Marketing Initiatives. Create marketing plans for non-dues products and services. Develop and distribute marketing communications for NCA's events, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, webinars and publications. Design, develop and oversee annual National Club Conference brand, including promotional communications and the Conference website. Gather and develop information for use in marketing programs. Plan marketing schedules for NCA events. Support in designing and editing deliverables for Association sponsors, corporate partners and allied organizations as needed. 4. Develop NCA's Membership Marketing Initiatives. Create promotional materials, images and designed communications to support NCA's member recruitment and retention programs. Assist in developing membership marketing program strategies. Work with membership department to utilize marketing automation tools and member database to create successful member acquisition and retention programs. 5. Support NCA Foundation's Fundraising Activities. Develop fundraising collateral materials. Maintain standards for NCA Foundation sub-brand with internal teams and external vendors. 6. Stay on Top of Current Industry Trends and Events to Maintain NCA's Place in the Market. 7. Perform Other Related Duties and Assignments as Required. QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. Minimum of three years of related experience, preferably at an association. Skills and Abilities Graphic Design Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator programs. Exceptional promotional copywriting skills and understanding of creative design concepts Skilled at managing multiple projects. Creativity and attention to detail and deadlines. Results oriented, with emphasis in applying marketing strategies and tactics to achieve desired results. Ability to manage execution of multiple activities and work within a team environment. Knowledge of website CMS, Informz, publishing software and Adobe Acrobat. Coding knowledge is preferred. High Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Mac OS Knowledge of video content development, production and editing, including Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro and Sparks or other media software. Familiarity with the golf or private club industry a plus.
