The Purchasing Manager is responsible for supporting the custom home business through purchasing and sales initiatives. Responsibilities and Duties: Manage Purchasing & Sales Pricing Requests and DesignManage pricing requests for prospective and current customersDocument option budgets and pricingSketch custom change requests for plansRedline plans as needed to depict changes and/or design modificationsWork directly with customers as needed to review options and redlines in meetings and on phone callsCoordinate changes and pricing with the office and customerAssist in Building and Grading Plan developmentEnsure Sales Contracts & Change Orders are Processed AccuratelyUpdate & distribute worksheets, budgets, sales addendumsEnsure all options are documented and captured in the final budgets Position Standards: High sense of urgencyStrong people skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to easily handle multiple projects at the same time Position Requirements: BA degree preferred in business, construction management or a related fieldPurchasing experience in the homebuilding industry requiredFive years of general construction experience in the homebuilding industryStrong knowledge/mastery of MS Office products
