Job Brief: Full-time, PermanentDescription: JOB DESCRIPTION:Aurotech is currently seekingA' a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer / Visualization expert to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.In this role, the candidate should have a background in data and business analysis. The candidate should be analytical, and an excellent communicator. Business acumen and problem-solving aptitude is a must. Have knowledge of various BI Analytical tools like SAP Business Objects, Tableau, PowerBI, and Qlik to name a few.Ultimately, the candidate will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.The ideal candidate must possess:A' . Translate business needs to technical specificationsA' . Design, build and deploy BI solutions (eg reporting tools)A' . Maintain and support data analytics platform (Tool agnostic platform)A' . Create tools to store data (eg OLAP cubes)A' . Conduct unit testing and troubleshootingA' . Evaluate and improve existing BI systemsA' . Collaborate with teams to integrate systemsA' . Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysesA' . Create visualizations and reports for requested projectsA' . Develop and update technical documentationRequired Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this effort has a strong background in ETL development for data warehouses, both Cloud and on-premise data architecture, and the tools and services that are available in the AWS stackA' . Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data ScientistA' . 5 years + Industry experience is preferredA' . Background in data warehouse design (eg dimensional modeling) and data miningA' . In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworkA' . Familiarity with BI technologies (eg SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)A' . Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)A' . Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovativeA' . Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitudeA' . BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fieldA' . US Citizenship or Permanent residentA' . Certifications in a technical fieldDesired Qualifications:A' . Certification in SAP Business Objects or TableauA' . Previous consulting or client service delivery experience on AWS
