PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE: The Branch Manager is directly responsible for the development of new business, the growth of sales, the continuous improvement of customer service, service & service department, and the effective oversight of the daily operations of the Virginia Branch.A' As Branch Manager, this individual will manage customer service and sales support functions, oversee service operations, aplong with prudent attention to the P&L, operating income, and expenses.A' This individual will work directly with vendors and outside sales to set goals and objectives, territories, and pricing.A' This individual will work to develop a cohesive team within the VA Branch to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products and services and the achievement of the BranchA$ cents A' €A' (TM) s goals. A' KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Oversee day-to-day operations of the VA Branch.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Set policy and procedure to ensure efficient operation.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Operate and understand P&L.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Set overall goals, direction, and vision.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Oversee, involved & approval of all hires & terminations.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Conduct and oversee all performance evaluations for branch employees (March & September)A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Set department and individual goals and objectives with Managers, sales and service.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Determine and review account/territory assignments.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Monitor and control expenses and operating income for the department.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Schedule and convene functional and productive sales meetings and appropriate trainings.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Set pricing levels for customers and products.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' C-W stock input and inventory monitor.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Identify and pursue new business (customers and/or product lines).A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Maintain Vendor relations and monitor Vendor sales goals and objectives. A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Set up/schedule productive joint sales calls with VA Salesmen and Vendor Salesmen.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Resolve Vendor issues and disputes.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Be able to create and present a MAP (Market Action Plant) for the department and products.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Create and conduct product presentations.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Oversee the operations of the service department by working with the Service Manager.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Work with Service Manager to set & achieve goals and provide outstanding customer service A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Product management: o Primary Product Line Focus: Sullair, Warren Rupp o Secondary Product Line Focus: Kobelco, Zeks A' PERFORMANCE METRICS: A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Department performance, plus qualitative progress on assigned key initiatives.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Profit and loss, operating expenses, cost reduction, and cost containment.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Progress on individual sales goals and Branch sales goals.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Progress on Vendor sales goals.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Employee satisfaction and retention as evidence of effective team building.A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Continuous improvement / Training / Self-development A' SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' BachelorA$ cents A' €A' (TM) s Degree or equivalent. A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Experience with industrial and mechanical equipment. A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Specific experience with compressed air, pumps, heat transfer products and systems.A' A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Minimum of 10 yearsA$ cents A' €A' (TM) experience in outside sales for a distributorship with multiple vendors and products. A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Management experience with evidence of a progression in scope and responsibility, including managing the P&L. A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Computer skills:A' Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. A' A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Ability to set and understand sales and performance objectives and quotas. A cents € cents A' A' A' A' A' Ability to create budget analysis and forecast.
