SUMMARY Reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Administrative Officer, the Vice President, Human Resources, leads a global team of eight (8) HR professionals who are responsible for the strategic development and implementation of human resource policies, processes and programs designed to promote the professional and personal success of the company's US and India-based workforce. The Vice President, Human Resources will participate in corporate strategic planning to drive enterprise-wide operational effectiveness and continuous improvement. This role requires a strong leader with broad knowledge of all human resource functions and the ability to scale an organization while thriving in a high-growth, fast-paced and culturally diverse environment.A' ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConsult with senior management to drive systemic, organizational and people strategies that are aligned with the business strategyEstablish global Human Resource departmental goals and measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goalsProvide management, leadership, and direction for the global Human Resources TeamDevelop and manage key cultural initiatives such as leadership development, talent/performance management, change management, workforce and succession planning, talent acquisition, employee and career development, performance management, rewards and recognition, and coachingCollaborate with business leadership to maintain a competitive incentive compensation and reward strategy and measure its successMonitor industry trends to ensure company maintains competitive hiring and benefits practicesLead talent acquisition and onboarding strategies; build recruiting brand and value proposition; and efficiently and effectively assist in filling open positionsPrepare periodic management reports, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishmentEmploy data and statistical analysis to solve real-world HR problemsEncourage diverse thinking--through implementation of creative ideas--to promote and nurture innovationPromote open and effective communication at all levels of the organization, understand employee opinions, monitor the impact of business decisions on people, and advise management on addressing employees' concernsEstablish and implement global training and development plans to meet personal, professional, and organizational needsConduct organizational skills assessments and develop/drive initiatives to close gaps and ensure a high-performing and motivated workforceA' Assess and develop continuous improvement initiatives focused on employee engagement strategies aimed at promoting a high level of employee morale, motivation and retentionDevelop and implement education and communication strategies to promote employee alignment with organizational valuesProvide constructive feedback to leaders about talent moves, gaps, promotions and growth opportunitiesGuide workforce actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelinesReview all areas of human resources to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements while maintaining a high level of confidentiality with respects to employee information and employee relationsPartner with Corporate Compliance on joint education, awareness, policy, safeguard, and program improvements, ensuring constant alignment in support of enterprise and regulatory activitiesOther duties as assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, or related field; Master's Degree preferred15 years' experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Human Resources; minimum of 5 years in a senior-level human resources positionProven strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to partner and build relationships with executive leadership, managers and all levels of coworkersExperienced in leading and supporting broad scale change initiatives that have global company impact and complex outcomesSkilled in project management with a proven ability to design and implement creative human resource solutions that drive business resultsAbility to flourish in a rapidly changing organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexityDecisive leadership and the courage to propose solutions others are reluctant to address and to act in the face of resistance for the best interests of the businessEnthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environmentDemonstrated business acumen and ability to grow the business through ongoing development and support of its workforceSkilled at building bridges and designing "win-win"A' solutions across a matrixed management organizationAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentSelf-starting, energetic, results-oriented team player with entrepreneurial spirit to support Altruista's growing businessUnderstanding the "big picture"A' of how human resources practices relate to a successful businessExcellent written and verbal communication skills COMPETENCIES:Leadership & NavigationBusiness AcumenEthical PracticeRelationship ManagementConsultationGlobal & Cultural EffectivenessCommunication
