Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) is a key element of our People Strategy and there is much more to be done within the Firm to build on the strong foundations in place.Responsibilities:A cents € cents In collaboration with the Director of Diversity - US, Director of Attorney Development and Recruitment - US, the Diversity Steering Board, CHRO and other key stakeholders, this role contributes to the design and implementation of the firm's D&I strategy and the US annual D&I planA cents € cents Works collaboratively to develop, promote and implement D&I action plans that meet the Firm's needsA cents € cents Serves as a subject matter expert to colleagues with a deep knowledge of methods to increase D&I within the FirmA cents € cents Supports the introduction and development of Affinity Groups, Women's Forums and other networking groups within all US officesA cents € cents Provides guidance to the HR and ADR teams and local sponsors in each US office to support the introduction of new Affinity GroupsA cents € cents Supports and guides the annual programming of Affinity Group events, promoting consistency, collaboration and the sharing of ideasA cents € cents With support from the Diversity Initiatives Manager and the ADR team, organizes internal events eg affinity group events and diverse lawyer retreats to maximize awareness of D&I within the FirmA cents € cents Engages with women and diverse lawyers, across the US offices, to learn of issues and interests and assists the Firm's efforts to retain and develop these lawyersA cents € cents Collaborates with other regional D&I professionals to share best practices and promote new actions and activities that will further D&I across the global FirmA cents € cents Builds and influences internal stakeholder relationships including partner/director sponsors, allies and D&I champions to promote the D&I agenda globally and specifically within the US officesA cents € cents Develops and leads a communications plan that includes the Firm's intranet and website content to promote D&I activities, initiatives and messages for both the internal audience and for potential candidates in the recruitment processA cents € cents Strengthens and grows external relationships with diversity-related organizations, thought leaders and vendorsA cents € cents Partners with ADR and HR colleagues to design and implement systems, processes and management reports to monitor performance and effectiveness of D&I initiativesA cents € cents Proactively keeps up to date with best practices and disseminates key knowledge and information to othersA cents € cents Partners with the Learning & Development team to upskill our partners and employees on the value of D&IA cents € cents Plays a key role in delivering internal training to ensure all HR and ADR colleagues are up to date on the latest thinking and practice in D&I mattersA cents € cents Participates in public relations and media opportunities regarding the firm's diversity programs, in connection with the Firm's public relations groupQualifications:A cents € cents Bachelor's degree in a related field.
