Please email your cover letter and resume directly to kmydland@.This position focuses on the design, growth and delivery of innovative technology-based education offerings to meet the training and learning needs of AOPO's members. This includes creating and maintaining eLearning; instructor-led and blended courses; audio and video components; and other resources for organ procurement and healthcare professionals.Digital Content/eLearningDirect, design, develop and assess AOPO's online programs, ensuring that goals of key constituents are met through multiple learning delivery methods and platformsIdentify, source and manage subject matter experts (SMEs) for online learning programsIdentify opportunities to expand the digital footprint in alignment with content strategyWork with AOPO staff and volunteer members to identify topics, presenters/contributors and schedules, and align the topics to the most appropriate delivery modality including recommendations regarding updates and new developmentWrite effective copy, instructional text and test questionsDevelop final scripts and storyboards as part of the instructional design of module development in order to translate content into relevant and effective learning experiencesUtilize instructional design best practices and ensure that the curriculum and content are designed to meet the needs of adult learners in a professional settingLead product development efforts in the areas of micro and mobile learningEdit and revise established online courses to incorporate relevant and current content and technologyUtilize course design, production software and program agent that provides voiceovers for coursesAssure adherence to continuing education credit requirements for online coursesLead and actively contribute to the development of other innovative knowledge transfer methodsGeneralOversee the knowledge management documentation process to capture key departmental workflowInvestigate, assess and oversee approved opportunities for additional revenue sources to grow AOPO's education and product lines (eg continuing education grants, new partnerships, etc.)Ensure that agreements between AOPO and SMEs/contributors/presenters have been appropriately executedManage marketing content updates and develop marketing copy for online learning productsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree, strong preference for a degree in the area of instructional design, e-learning, adult learning, educational technology, or another related fieldExperience with learning management systems (LMS)Working knowledge of e-learning authoring and development tools; familiarity with SCORM standardsKnowledge of current best practices related to adult learning principlesExperience and solid working knowledge of writing code for open source plug insAbility to master various technology, web and data management systemsUnderstanding of design and development principles, best practices, learning theories, and how they vary depending on delivery methodStrong project management skillsMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in online education development and deliveryDesired/Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in healthcare or medical education management strongly preferredPrior experience working for a non-profit associationMaster's degree/advanced degree in the area of instructional design, e-learning, adult learning, educational technology, or another related fieldDemonstrated innovation and creativity regarding the development and execution of knowledge transfer methods at prior jobsDemonstrated experience with Articulate StorylineExperience with MoodleA'
