We are seeking an experienced Treasury Specialist to join the Accounting Team at Greystone's Rockville, Maryland location who will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording and verifying that related cash activities are entered accurately and timely. The Treasury Specialist will help support all transactional treasury needs across the various business lines and will assist Greystone's corporate office in meeting liquidity needs for corporate-wide initiatives.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview cash transactions from the prior day and enter them into the daily cash batches for reviewFollow up to obtain the necessary transaction detail to record the transactionTrack wire request through our system(s) and respond to inquiries regarding the status of wire requestEnter all outgoing wires into the appropriate banking systemEnter all internal wire transfers between our banksRespond to inquiries regarding funds received and notify internal customers of incoming wiresRemote depositing of incoming checks into the appropriate bank accountsDaily and monthly bank account reconciliationsSkills and Attributes RequiredMinimum 2-4 years of experience.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar business-related fieldMust have strong work ethicsEffectively manages multiple assignmentsProactive in identifying and resolving issuesMust have strong organizational and time management skillsMust be highly self-motivated pursuing continuous improvement to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business and ability to work within a team structureExcellent oral and written communications skillsNavision GL accounting system experience is a plusStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
