Sparks Group is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to support and create internal and external print, presentation, web, and multimedia deliverables for a renowned non-profit in McLean, VA. If you are a seasoned Designer with a track record of successful creative execution across multiple platforms, within a corporate or agency side environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This company has just finalized a visual brand refresh, and you will be instrumental in supporting the company's embrace and usage of all brand elements across products. You will serve as a creative advisor, design expert, and thought partner, working with individuals at all levels.
Senior Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Bring proven experience combining artistic sensibility and technical skill to drive diverse design projects across platforms.
- Convert conceptual or complex topics into meaningful print or digital products from ideation through final production.
- Organize visual content to effectively tell a story to targeted audiences.
- Serve as a strategic consultant and creative advisor, consulting and interacting with all levels of staff, senior executives and customers.
- Analyze needs, provide recommendations, and develop and execute appropriate design strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Conceptualize, create, and present storyboards.
- Maintain a strong awareness of digital content delivery trends and tools.
- BS/BA degree required in a related field.
- 10+ years' experience in corporate environment with strict branding standards.
- Excellent design skills with an eye for detail.
- Experience launching a brand and managing to brand guidelines.
- Expertise with the entire Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in multimedia design and software tools (animation, illustration, editing).
- Experience designing for external promotion and outreach.
- Art direction and high-level concepting for multiple mediums including, but not limited to print collateral, ads, web, trade shows, environmental graphics, PowerPoint presentations, Identity and branding.
- Outstanding project-management experience, including managing multiple competing creative deliverables.
- Management experience, including video teams, a plus.
- Comfortable interacting with and presenting to C-level executives.
- Flexibility and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, high profile environment as both an individual contributor and as a member of a team.
- Strong consulting skills; demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to analyze problems, recommend appropriate communication solutions, and facilitate more informed decisions.
