Director of International Collections, Outreach, & Programming

The George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School invites applications for the Director of International Collections, Outreach, & Programming position. Responsibilities: * Provide oversight and guidance to the law library in international material sources * Supervises admissions team and student advising department in international student orientation for JD, LLM, & Exchange program students, setting goals and objectives for orientation, and providing programming and instruction for the international students in conjunction with the admissions team and student advising department * Support Scalia Law Centers and Institutes in planning and programming for international symposia and conferences * Assist Scalia Law Centers and Institutes in recruiting, developing, and sustaining international participants and attendees * Oversee the Scalia Law Visiting Scholars Program and supervise scholars while in residence * Teach one course per year in a comparative law area.

Required Qualifications: * LLB or JD * 5 years of legal practice in an international jurisdiction(s) * A global mindset with cross-cultural communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: * Fluency in a second language * More than 5 years of legal practice in an international jurisdiction(s)
