Responsibilities

  • Empties trash, restocks room condiments and supplies.
  • Ensures rooms are locked and released for guest use.
  • Treats guests courteously and professionally.
  • Notify supervisors of matters requiring immediate attention.
  • Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, headboard, headboard light, door trim stains, marks, louvers closet door, toilet edges, shower head and coffee maker.
  • Follows all prescribed procedures to include those pertaining to safety and the reporting of items needing engineering repair or maintenance.

  • Must be able to actively bend, stoop, reach and work in awkward positions.
  • Exposed to dirt and disagreeable odors, vibration from use of heavy equipment, and to skin irritations from strong cleaning solutions.
  • Care is required to avoid serious injury when working on ladders and when moving heavy furniture and using heavy powered equipment.
  • Works is usually performed indoors in areas that have adequate heat, light, and ventilation.
  • Appointment is subject to completion of a favorable background/investigation to determine suitability for this position.


Qualifications

  • Applicant must be able to follow simple oral instructions
  • Use hand or light weight powered cleaning tools and equipment as
    described which generally require no prior training or previous work experience.
