Bliss Lawyers is seeking a patent prosecution attorney to work in the suburban DC-area office of a large law firm. Candidates outside of the DC-area will be considered as well as non-JD candidates if they have the required qualifications. Qualified candidates will have a background in electrical engineering and/or computer science and at least three years of experience preparing patent applications and responses to Office Actions. The candidate hired for this position will be helping the firm's patent prosecution group. Prior large law firm experience is preferred. Admission to the Virginia Bar is required for local lawyer candidates and admission to the state bar in which the candidate resides is required for lawyer candidates outside of the DC-area. This is a full-time, temporary role that is expected to last three months and may extend. Interviews will begin immediately and the position will begin as soon as a qualified candidate is identified.
