Summary The talent acquisition marketing manager serves as a key resource, allowing the department to drive external awareness of AARP and shape the organization's employment reputation. Drives modern and innovative marketing strategies that give AARP a competitive edge in finding and attracting quality employment candidates. Uses a multi-channeled (search, social, mobile, talent community) approach to target internal and external audiences. Implements a content-based strategy through storytelling, audience segmentation, and touch (drip) marketing. Responsibilities Manages all digital and social recruitment platforms, including our career site content management, CRM, new employee welcome portal, and social platforms. Enriches the careers page and social media accounts with multimedia, posts, and employee testimonials and develops content that illustrates our life at work (ie, videos and infographics). Develops, plans, and implements recruitment marketing strategies to amplify AARP's employment brand awareness. Presents insights and recommendations to improve sourcing performance. Designs and executes recruitment campaigns in channels such as e-mail, marketing automation, social, website, SEO, SEM, and paid media. Reports on campaign success and tracks click-through and adoption. Manages the set-up of campaigns, including campaign planning, content development, campaign placement, targeting and segmentation execution, and deployment to drive campaign adoption at scale. Develops targeted marketing campaigns designed to increase conversions and click-through rates, making hard to find talent more accessible to recruiters and decreasing time to find. Grows the talent community network, driving and monitoring social engagement. Manages paid social recruitment campaigns, determines KPIs, tracks and reports on campaign performance, and assesses against goals (ROI). Collaborates with agencies and vendors, as needed on the development and execution of digital campaigns, promotion of internal programs, and designs of information portals (career site, internal talent acquisition information pages, new employee welcome bridge, etc.). Tracks best practices, monitors industry trends, and makes recommendations. Leverages data in a way that informs messaging and design decisions. Collaborates across HR to identify and promote the top reasons why employees stay with AARP to attract potential candidates. Crafts job advertisements that attract talent, describes our benefits, and promotes company culture. Collaborates with recruiting leadership on the various online channels to share posts (job boards, social media groups, and professional communities). Participates in job fairs and other career events, as needed. Manages and communicates internal mobility programs. Other duties, as assigned. Requirements Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline and 5+ years of experience preferred, with 2+ years of relevant experience in recruitment marketing in developing and implementing social media strategies for a variety of clients at an agency or large, complex organization preferred. Previous social media management experience is required, including social content development and community management, and implementation of digital campaigns - e-mail, marketing automation, social, website, content, SEO, paid media, and web analytics (Google analytics). Ability to think creatively and to develop non-traditional talent engagement strategies. Demonstrated ability to manage/implement social content strategy and engage/grow communities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to quality and accuracy -- attention to detail.
