LMI is seeking a high-energy Change Management and Communications Consultant to join the Strategy and Organizational Management group in supporting the design and implementation of transformative change initiatives for a Postal Service organization. The consultant will develop an organizational change management strategy and roadmap, will develop change management plans which are used to deploy or execute change throughout the organization, and will work with various government offices. They will also conceptualize and develop communication products for internal and external audiences. This position will be located in Washington DC Responsibilities Supports the client on a variety of projects including:Develop an OCM strategy and roadmap, as well as change management plans which are used to deploy or execute change throughout the organization. Apply a structured methodology to assigned change management activities Participating and assisting with planning, management, site activation and integration activities. Play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usageWork directly with key stakeholders and transformation team members to develop and fully implement comprehensive change management plans. Focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organization structuresWork with various government offices to develop OCM plansDevelop communications (both internal and external). Develop and implement a marketing, communications, and engagement Plan. Prepare communication plans and key message content that align to client culture and business rhythm.Conceptualize, coordinate, and prepare client-ready products that meet both company and client standards and needsDevelop training manualsInfuse best practices and research to enhance leadership experiences, succession planning and developmentManage and contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high quality solutions and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or higher in business management or communications 8-10 years of experience Experience in federal government or federal government consultingUnderstanding of communications principles, methods, practices, and techniques, including skill in presenting ideas in speech and in written form to inform and persuade audiences at all levels of the organizationAbility to design, develop, and deliver strategic communications through a variety of mediaStrong organizational skills-someone with the ability to work with little direction on complex tasks and competing demandsAbility to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Excellent technical analytical and problem-solving skills.A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.Strong attention to detail and quality with exceptional organization skills. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Master's degreeUnderstanding of the ground transportation networkActive DoD security clearancePMP certificationUSPS experienceSecurity Clearance Statement: Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
