Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP, a boutique litigation and regulatory firm in Washington DC, seeks a mid-to-senior level associate to join its busy litigation practice. The Firm frequently represents federal grantees and other recipients of federal funding in federal court and before administrative agencies on a wide range of issues arising from the receipt of federal funds and the special terms and conditions associated with the many federal grant programs, including specialized Public Health Service Act programs in which many of the Firm's clients participate. The Firm has a heavy docket of federal district and appellate court litigation involving Federal Tort Claims Act ("FTCA"A' ) coverage pursuant to the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992 ("FSHCAA"A' ). The Firm's attorneys also engage in pre-litigation activities including internal investigations and self-disclosures, compliance counseling and all manner of counseling necessary in complex federal programs. The Firm also provides a significant amount of training for client groups in the very specialized areas in which it practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, both in district and appellate court litigation, will be smart, energetic, self-sufficient, and looking for challenges.
