DRB Group (Dan Ryan Builders, Fielding Homes, Elevate Homes) nationally (NAHB) recognized as the 25 Home Builder in North America, is seeking a qualified individual to fill a new Corporate Executive role, Senior Vice President of Finance. This position is a senior level financial management role with responsibility for the organization's accounting and finance functions in support of the CFO's macro oversight. This position oversees the financial functions of the Company including: accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, taxation, accounts payable, cash flow and treasury management. This position will have operational oversight for the daily operation of the accounting department and the division finance leaders. This position must also ensure compliance with company policies as they relate to financial matters. This hands-on position will work directly with CFO in leading the strategic financial management of the Company and will also work closely with the Company's operational leaders in meeting the financial management needs of each profit center. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties and Responsibilities A' . Provides oversight to the Company's division financial leaders and ensures that they all provide effective financial management and analysis to their applicable profit centers A' . Oversees the Company's treasury function and ensures that sufficient resources are available to meet ongoing financial needs of the Company A' . Assists CFO in management of the Capital needs of the Company - including helping guide all banking relationships, credit/bonding facilities and other capital sources A' . Guides the management of Corporate Accounting Department. Ensures that the department effectively manages all corporate accounting needs of the Company A' . Reviews all Company financial proformas for both raw land and finished lot purchases prior to their presentation to Land Acquisition Committee for approval A' . Performs second level review of all Company's land and lot purchase transactions A' . Reviews all significant financial analysis prepared by the finance team and ensures that it accurately presents the financial picture needed for the Executive Team to make all strategic financial decisions of the Company A' . Assists the Executive Team with special projects and analysis as needed A' . Provides hands-on financial management support for any division operation during finance staffing transitions as well as for any start-up operation which does not have a dedicated finance staff A' . Establishes and supervises all work practices of all the Company's accounting and finance staff, including providing opportunities for training and development QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and Skills A' . Experienced Home Building Financial Executive, preferably with a background with both public and private homebuilding companies A' . Direct experience in leading the financial management of a large-scale homebuilding division and/or overseeing multiple homebuilding divisions on a regional basis A' . Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, strong operational focus and a hands-on mindset A' . Strong interpersonal skills, articulate, capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals A' . Well organized and self-directed; team player A' . Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel Education and Work Experience A' . Minimum of bachelor's degree combined with at least 15 years of experience in either Accounting and/or Finance Managerial roles. CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
