Position Description Comstock is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. S/he will demonstrate the ability to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information, evaluate budget versus actual costs, and provide schedules to support annual and interim financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a growing company We offer a competitive salary with potential for bonus , generous benefit package (eg, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match, Life), opportunities for advancement , annual professional developmen t funds, employee discount , friendly work environment and more To learn more about Comstock Companies and how you can grow your career with our expanding portfolio, please visit: and apply today Responsibilities Compile and analyze financial information in a professional, clear, and timely manner Analyze and monitor project cash flows and review of actual vs. budget Prepare monthly loan cycle draw requests, loan tracking and follow ups Interface with division heads in regard to budgets and other operational data Prepare analytics and other metrics, including work-in-process and house costs Generate footnote schedules and disclosures to support financial reports, including 10K and 10Q Assist with internal and external presentations used by senior staff for investor relations, capital raises and board presentations Assist in the preparation of equity and debt solicitation packages Prepare the SG&A fluctuation analysis and others as assigned Populate audit lead schedules and prepare flux analysis Prepare and update debt and roll-forward schedules Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualification Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, or related field Strong knowledge of Excel required CPA, Commercial Real Estate and/or Homebuilding experience required Preferably two years big 4 audit experience or a similar position in financial analysis or reporting Must be able to perform in an evolving and changing environment and maintain a high level of energy Experience with Yardi and/or JD Edwards software a plus Experience with Argus a plus Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation Must be customer-focused and results-oriented Must want to continuously learn and develop Exceptional oral and written communication skills Ability to work well in a team establishing good working relationships with others Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision ONE COMSTOCK, ONE MISSION: Pursue exceptionalism by delivering extraordinary experiences while creating value for all stakeholders as a real estate asset manager, service provider, and investor.
