Digital Media Specialist We're looking for an energetic and creative digital media specialist to enhance our brand through internal and external social and digital platforms; develop strategies and plans to share company stories and build positive awareness. Key Role: * Develop and hone the company's social media and digital strategy to enhance corporate branding and image. Maintain and manage all our social media channels. * Write, develop, create and curate interesting and engaging content for both internal and external purpose, managing the editorial calendar across social and digital platforms. * Assist internal and external team leads to leverage and implement social and digital content in support of internal and external strategies. * Collaborate with the team to enhance the architecture, content, usability and development and design of digital, web and social platforms. * Coordinate daily social media posts to include writing compelling copy, collecting photos and stories. * Partner with the creative team to develop compelling graphics and digital presentations. * Bring forward strategies, ideas and methods for improvement. * Regularly track and get insights into competitors' strategies. * Develop and monitor ROI and KPIs. * Stay up-to-date with digital media technologies and latest trends. Basic Qualifications and Attributes: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field. * 3-5 years of related digital and social media experience. * Strong writing and storytelling skills. * Must be team oriented and able to work independently across a matrixed, fast paced team/organization. * Extensive experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. * Deep insights into social media landscape, quick and responsive to social trends and hot topics, and ability to engage audiences and share information/content in creative ways. * Experience and knowledge of web content management and web design. * Knowledge and some experience implementing owned, paid and earned social and digital media programs. * Knowledge of measurement in the digital space and how to track program/campaign success. * Experience managing vendor relationships is a plus. * Experience in government contracting desired, but not required. * Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success * Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
